Returning Back to Work

Dear Moms,

I hope this letter finds you well. I understand that going back to work after taking some time off to raise your children can feel overwhelming and nerve-wracking. But let me assure you that you are not alone and there is nothing to worry about.

Returning to work can be an excellent opportunity to expand your skill set and network with like-minded professionals. It can also give you a sense of independence and achievement that you might have missed during your break. Moreover, studies have shown that women who work after having children have higher self-esteem and better mental health.

I suggest taking it one step at a time. Update your resume and LinkedIn profile, and start networking with friends and colleagues to see what opportunities exist in your field. There are also many resources available to help moms re-enter the workforce, such as career coaching, job fairs, and online job boards.

Remember, you are capable of balancing work and family life. Many successful working moms have been able to do it and so can you. So, take a deep breath, believe in yourself, and take the first step towards your career goals.

And we’re here to help! We have many resources for those in China (or wishing to come to China). And for everyone else, we will help you find the resources you need.
